Our Staff
We pride ourselves on hiring only the best employees. Over the past year, our center has undergone some major changes, including the hiring of a new and extremely capable staff of experienced tutors. Our tutors have all had a minimum of one year's experience tutoring and teaching children, but most of them have been working in the field for years. Many are credentialed in their given field to teach, while others are currently enrolled in either undergraduate or graduate college courses in the subject that they tutor. We believe that all teachers are also students, so our employees are constantly seeking better ways to improve upon their own teaching methods and finding new material to bring to the students at our center. Our staff is not only knowledgeable, but friendly, patient, and caring. All of our employees profess an earnest love for children and a dedication to education, and will always go the extra mile to ensure that your child's educational needs and goals are not only met, but hopefully exceeded.
Please feel free to visit our center in order to speak with any member of our team.

Hello there, my name is Rachelle Laforteza. Currently, I have an Associate's degree in Ethnic Studies from Sacramento City College. However, I have attended the University of Hawai’i at Manoa and will be attending CSU Sacramento in the fall to attain a Bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in teaching English to second language learners. My overall goal is to graduate with a Master's degree in ESL, to it allowing me to teach as a professor overseas. Aside from that, I'm really good at taking a pencil and writing puns, which “wood” explain why I enjoy helping my students get to the “point” of being very “sharp".
